Fear of Love

Love is such a strange matter. I knew it's not going to be like the stories I read, or the movies I saw, but it still got me by surprise. It's not passionate, not gentle...no, it's something much more complex that I dare not to talk about. I'm afraid of it, enough to avoid it; I tried to compressed it down inside me, in a cold harsh shell, no matter how much it yearns to break out. I want to open it up, but I'm scared. After just glazing on its surface and getting hurt again, the shell was closed completely. When will I be rid of this pain and coldness? When will I truly learn to love?
